A NEW historical "theme park" with "time-travelling" live shows is opening in the UK soon.
Kynren - An Epic Tale of England is already open in the UK, and is often given the 5-star TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award.

The new 'theme park' called Kynren - The Storied Lands will be the park's "most ambitious yet".
The daytime attraction, in Bishop Auckland, will have five shows and immersive experiences as part of the first phase.
Guests will be transported to Neolithic Britain, before a live Biking show.
The Legend of the Wear will be a live show on the lake with water stunts, while The Lost Feather will be based on "birds and humanity's relationship".

The show then transports guests to Victorian England, before ending on a medieval knight battle in the biggest of the shows called Fina.
Later phases of the theme park will have other shows based on King Arthur, Robin Hood, and the Tudors.
Other shows include The Lone Centurion and Conquest of the Seas.

Plans revealed for new UK theme park
The multi-million pound new theme park is set to open next year, although an official opening date is yet to be confirmed.
In the mean time, Brits can experience the current Kynren – An Epic Tale of England.
The 90-minute evening show is all outdoors, with 1,000 actors performing stunts and fights.
Running during the summer, this year the theme park opens on July 19 with the last dat on September 13.

It's loved by tourists too, with most of the reviews on Tripadvisor giving the theme park give stars.
One person said: "I can't think of anything quite like this in this country.
"In terms of a spectacle, I'm thinking something like Disneyland's World of Color as a comparison."
Another wrote: "This is truly one of the best things I’ve ever seen."
Having opened in 2019, it is similar to Puy du Fou in France and Spain.

What is it like to experience Kynren?
Mum Victoria Williams visited Kynren for The Sun - here are her thoughts.
History was never my strong point at school but I find myself totally transfixed as epic scene after epic scene unfolds, telling the dramatic story of England over the past 2,000 years with actors in amazing costumes and animals ranging from horses to geese and sheep.
The show is narrated by Arthur, a ten-year-old boy from a mining family, who travels back in time through the most significant events of English history and legend.
In a visual feast, the technically brilliant production takes in Boudica, the Vikings, King Arthur, Queen Victoria and Shakespeare.
It also features both World Wars, the Industrial Revolution and Henry VIII.
It feels just as well produced as any blockbuster historical or fantasy drama on HBO or Netflix.
Puy du Fou is also coming to the UK with plans for a £600million theme park opening near Bicester.
