New family festival to launch this half term with massive interactive playgrounds and rides and it’s completely free

WITH February half term just around the corner, keeping kids entertained has never been more vital.
Luckily for little ones in Manchester, there's a new festival with plenty of family-friendly activities - and it's completely free.
The Super Duper Family Festival runs for four days and is set to turn the city into a fun-filled playground.
From February 15 to Tuesday 18 Manchester's most iconic spots will be transformed into unique play zones.
Kids will have the choice of giant mazes, steam-powered carousels and retro video games, and the best part is it is completely free.
Exchange Square will house a 18 metre by 18 metre hedge maze.

The life-size puzzle will also feature street art by artist Filthy Luker.
Just outside the Selfridges store, there will be a game of "Find the Gnome" on offer, as well as workshops by local florists to help inspire children to discover the joys of nature.
St Ann's Square will have a vintage carnival with a modern twist.
The iconic spot will have a traditional Victorian Carousel, a wacky Hall of Mirrors and brain games by the Museum of Illusions.

There will also be a circus skill workshop on offer for all ages.
At Great Northern Warehouse there will be a variety of sporting activities to wear the children out with.
There will be four areas dedicated to racing, football, hockey, table tennis and more.
For those who enjoy a good boogie Aviva Studios is the place to be, with DJs creating the ultimate family rave.
If dancing isn't your bag, there will be a drop-in longue with dance-themed films, crafting workshops, storytelling sessions and performances.
Kids will eat free at Manchester Arndale in Doner Shack, Pizza Hut Express, Yo! Sushi, Sides, and Creams Cafe.
