MORE flights are launching to one of the UK's prettiest islands.
Airline Skybus currently operates three flights a week from Newquay Airport to St Mary's Airport in the Isles of Scilly in winter.
However, this is set to increase from May 12 to two every day - one in each direction - from Monday to Saturday.
And then during the peak summer season, a third lunchtime flight will be added, from July 1.
The 30 minute flight will also line up with other domestic routes to places like London and Edinburgh.
Skybus managing director Jonathan Hinkles said: "Our expansion at Cornwall Airport Newquay is great news for customers, bringing new connectivity, more seats and more travel options for those flying to and from the Isles of Scilly."
