Laura told Sun Travel: "I've always travelled and have been around the UK with my parents from an early age.
"We've always been into travelling and exploring different places. In fact, when I was nine my mum and dad got a caravan.

She said: "I used to love going on those holidays and my parents would do rounders competitions.
"All the parents and kids would get together on the camping sites and we'd play rounders and have barbecues.
"There was a sense of freedom that came with camping holidays. We'd be able to get on our bikes and go and explore."
Laura who presents Channel 4 show that helps Brits find their dream property abroad, still loves to go away to the tropics or spend time in the Mediterranean.

But she also still travels all over the UK, recently spending time in Padstow for a staycation.
She also stayed in the West Sussex countryside at a rustic retreat with an outdoor campfire and barbecue.
Laura she credits her parents for "instilling independence" in her, especially as she took off to Portugal for her first solo holiday the day after her GCSE results when she was 16 years old.
And as a parent to two children, Rocco and Tahlia, Laura says that she has a new appreciation for her mum and dad letting her go on her own.
She added: "It's hard as a parent when you realise your kids are growing up and they want to go explore.
"I don't have any shadow of a doubt my kids are going to be like that. They've grown up exploring and travelling with me since they were three weeks old."
Her kids have also enjoyed a UK break or two. Laura said: "We've done all sorts of holiday from motorhome, caravan and glamping sites - they love it.
"I think they like going for the same reason that I did, the sense of freedom and adventure."
Travel presenter Laura is also embarking on a new project of her own. She's collating all of her travel stories and tips on her podcast 'Mile Fly Club' which is about to return for a second series.
Interviewing celebrity guests like Bradley Walsh, Andrea McLean and Jeff Brazier, Laura will talk about their lives through travel, from their favourite destinations all the way to conspiracy theories.
