DISNEYLAND Paris has a hidden Deadpool and Wolverine bar that not many people know about.

This secret speakeasy can be found in the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel at Disneyland Paris and even the name is fun - the 4th Wall at the Broom Room.

Marvel funs young and old will love this experience as finding it is half the fun.

I was visiting with my friend – another self-confessed Disney adult, my 8-year-old daughter, Sabrina, and my friend’s 9-year-old son, Karter.

As Karter is a big Marvel and gaming fan, I knew he would be perfect companion to help find the bar.

You can book the experience by finding the poster of Deadpool and Wolverine in the hotel lobby and scanning the QR code.

Or, if you don’t want to leave it to chance, you can book three days before your visit on the Lineberry app, which can be used to book meals and experiences around Disneyland.

We booked in advance and headed to the hotel lobby to speak to the concierge.

On confirming our booking, she gave us a special room key card with the two characters.

We were told to head up to the sixth floor and look for a door matching the picture on the key.

The sixth floor was a normal hotel corridor and when we found the door to the room, it looked just like all the others – except for the Deadpool and Wolverine logo giving the game away.

We scanned our card just like we would in a hotel room and walked into what appeared to be a cleaning cupboard.

How to do an adult-only trip to Disneyland Paris

Upon scanning the ‘cupboard’ we found lots of cool graffiti of Deadpool and even some Disney references like ‘Mickey was here’ scrawled in pen.

There were a lot of cleaning products and a safe that Karter and Sabrina used to type in the code from our key card.

After a few minutes, a face appeared from a window in a hidden door asking us if we were here for the cleaning job.

The woman behind the door was very funny and we had some back-and-forth banter before she finally opened the door to reveal the bar.

When we stepped into the bar, I couldn’t believe how huge it was.

We were shown around the room and immediately noticed the soundtrack to the film playing in the background and some amazing life size costumes used for the film on display as well as other cool props, Easter Eggs and photo opportunities.

It’s not a full bar and there are only a few cocktail options but they’re good ones.

For alcoholic drinks, there is From the Mouth of a Merc made with tequila, vanilla syrup and vegetable charcoal as well as Adamantium which has Bacardi, passion fruit and blue curaçao.

For non-alcoholic options, there was Hot Pineapple - made with pineapple juice, lemon juice, fruit puree, ginger ale and spicy flavoured mango syrup and the Canadian Candy Concoction – made with passion fruit nectar, fruit puree, red berry cordial and marshmallows which get toasted right at your table!

As we had the kids with us, and because the drinks were eye-wateringly expensive - €28 (£23) for a cocktail and €20 (£16) for a virgin drink - we decided to order the two non-alcoholic cocktails which were both excellent.

We made use of photo opportunities and loved exploring all the fun details of the bar.
