LaplandUK Manchester
We might have only just got Christmas 2024 out of the way, but LaplandUK has announce it will bring its Christmas magic to Manchester next winter, launching a brand-new experience at Capesthorne Hall in 2025.
The original Berkshire site was a hit, with over 300,000 tickets selling out in just four hours this year. Now, northern families can enjoy the same 4.5-hour festive adventure.

Kids will get an elf passport, visit the toy factory, bake in Mother Christmas' kitchen and be able to meet Father Christmas himself.
The event promises Disney-level details, from miniature doorways for ‘small folk’ to perfectly themed elf greetings.
Founders Mike and Alison Battle say they’re thrilled to expand: "We can’t wait to create more treasured Christmas memories."
Tickets are expected to go on sale in March, but don’t sleep on this one – it’s a guaranteed sell-out.

Hossoland theme park, Poland
Poland will see the arrival of a game-changing theme park in June 2025.
Called Hossoland, the brand new park - located in Kiełpino on Poland’s Baltic coast - was originally scheduled to open in spring 2024, however, delays have seen the date pushed back.
Covering a whopping 400,000sqm, it’ll feature four themed lands, including Mermaid City and Dragon Valley of the Mines when it opens its gates to visitors.
Looking to compete with the likes of Energylandia, the new park promises over 50 attractions, with plans already in motion for a water park and further expansions.
Its standout attraction? GhostRider, a steel coaster hitting 72mph and soaring to 176ft.
Hosso Group, the park’s operator, expects Hossoland to draw crowds from Berlin given its proximity to the German capital.
Bommelwereld indoor amusement park, Netherlands
The Netherlands is gearing up for the opening of a unique indoor amusement park in 2025 in the form of Bommelwereld.
Based on the Dutch comic character Olivier B. Bommel, the park blends nostalgia with cutting-edge rides and, according to reports, has been designed to appeal to multiple age groups.
Visitors to the park will be greeted by a 21m-high medieval castle facade, which inside will include a Hall of Fame and a portrait gallery exploring the history of Olivier B. Bommel.
Covering 9,000sqm, Bommelwereld will feature more than 18 attractions when its gates swing open to the public, including rides from prominent theme park manufacturers such as Vekoma and Zamperla.
One is a new family coaster dubbed Bulder Baan, which will be placed on extended columns, allowing visitors to walk beneath the majority of the ride itself.
Other attractions include a mini flume ride, plus a grand theatre for live shows.
Disneyland Paris revamp, France
Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris will receive a €2billion transformation in 2025, including a glamorous new entrance called World Premiere.
Set to open in spring, the revamped entrance will lead guests into a Hollywood-style film premiere.
Walt Disney Imagineering recently teased the upgrades in a post on Instagram with the caption:
“Imagineers have recently installed the Disney Theater façade and marquee, weighing in at three tons – about the size of a baby blue whale.
“This new addition inside World Premiere at Disneyland Paris is set to dazzle guests when it debuts in spring 2025, welcoming guests to a glitzy film premiere in the heart of Hollywood.”
As announced at Disney’s D23 fan event in 2024, Walt Disney Studios Park is also creating new attractions and immersive areas inspired by animated classics The Lion King and Frozen as part of the park’s evolution into Disney Adventure World, although these will be coming later.
Ubisoft Entertainment Center, France
Gaming giant Ubisoft is bringing its first Entertainment Center to France in 2025, according to reports.
Located near Montpellier, the centre will offer interactive attractions based on popular Ubisoft franchises like Rayman and Rabbids.
The venue will also include dining and retail, promising a mix of fun for gamers and families alike.
