Tiny ‘Hobbit’ home transformed into Airbnb where you can stay for £99… but it’s completely cut off from outside world
A TINY "Hobbit" home has been transformed into an Airbnb where guests can stay for £99 - but it's completely isolated from the outside world.
The one-bedroom home located in the Cheshire countryside is surrounded by beautiful scenery - but there isn't even any Wi-Fi.
The home itself is an unusual semicircular shape, with unique round doorways, cabin-like windows and wood panelling throughout.
There are two internal compartments - one lounge area with a comfy recliner sofa and one bedroom with a small double bed.
The cosy living room also has a TV and heater, along with an additional bed in the living room if needed.
The rental also boasts a host of other facilities outside the hut - like a separate converted rustic hut outside the snug that has a toilet, shower and sink.

It even has an outdoor kitchen, where guests can test their grilling skills.
This little hobbit hut is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway.
It is available for reservation on Airbnb with a 4.99 rating and is listed as a “Guest Favourite”.
The listing reads: “The Hobbitesque Snug is a quirky and unique experience, something a little different, and very romantic with its cosy wooden structure which smells of pine and has cute Hobbit-like round windows and door."
It goes on to describe the remarkable amount of private outdoor space available at the rental, with its very own "top paddock" - 100 yards from the lister's own home.
It says: "The whole top paddock is exclusively yours, quite a rare find.
“At night time you can hear owls hooting, foxes barking and see the bats flitting about catching their dinner. It’s a special place to be close to nature."
Addressing their decision to keep the property off-grid, the seller added: “We believe in taking away all the modern stresses in today's lifestyle so do not provide Wi-Fi although EE seems to be able to get a signal."
However, they were keen to remind holiday-makers of the range of high-tech gadgets.
They said: “The hut is equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and a toaster.
"During the summer months ( April-September) there is an undercover gazebo and we provide a top-of-the-range Ninja Woodfire electric BBQ Grill & Smoker so you can cook just about anything in any weather under the cover of a wooden arbour.
“There is also a two-ring hotplate and an electric teppanyaki grill if you prefer.
“Please do not bring any dogs as we already have five on our property.”
How to live off-grid in the UK
We break down exactly what you need to do to live off grid
Find a plot with woodland, so you can make fires in the winter, arable land, optimal for growing food and raising livestock, and a water supply, because there's no life without water!
Get planning permission if you're planning on making big changes to a building or changing its use
Acquire a power source, whether its solar panels, wind turbines or water power
Think about insulation, so your hard-earned heating doesn't disappear in an instant
Start planting your own fruit, vegetables and grains so you have ingredients to cook with
Make sure you have an effective drainage and waste system, before things turn ugly!
