EUROPE'S first standalone Peppa Pig theme park opened to the public earlier - here's everything you need to know.
Peppa Pig Günzburg, mainland Europe's first Peppa Pig theme park, opened in May, 2024.
Following the success of of the Peppa Pig Theme Park that opened in Orlando as part of the Legoland Florida Resort, Peppa Pig Günzburg opened in May, becoming mainland Europe's first theme park based on the children's character.
Peppa Pig Günzburg is unlike other theme parks based on the famous children's character because its standalone.
This means it's separate from other nearby theme parks, making it the perfect place for young park-goers who are obsessed with the beloved character.
At the theme park's opening, Merlin CEO, Scott O'Neil, said: "Hasbro’s Peppa Pig and her loving family coming to Günzburg, Germany is our
opportunity to bring joy, create connections, and make memories for families with young children throughout Europe."

Set in Günzburg, Bavaria, the newly-opened theme park sits right next to the Legoland Deutschland Resort.
Kids will also get to meet all of their favourite characters throughout the park too.
One popular ride is Daddy Pig's Roller Coaster, a Family Coaster 155 that's been made by Zamperla.
There's also Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride where park-goers will be launched into the air on an aerial carousel ride.

Other rides include Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure, which takes younger visitors on a prehistoric quest, Grandad Dog's Pirate Boat Ride and Mr. Bull’s High Striker.
There's also Muddle Puddles Splash Pool is another and there's also Peppa Pig's Treehouse, a huge outdoor play area.

Younger park-goers can also cycle past adventurous landscapes on Peppa’s Pedal Bike Tour and George’s Tricycle Trail.
Another attraction is Peppa Pig's Lego Play Zone, an area with building tables where kids can build their own creations.
There's also a sand play area and an outdoor playground called Rebecca Rabbit's Playground.
One-day tickets cost €19 (£16.36) per person, if booked in advance online.
Peppa Pig Günzburg is an 70-minute drive from Munich, where direct services operate to and from the UK.
EasyJet operates direct flights from London Gatwick Airport to Munich Airport, with one-way fares starting from £31.

Meanwhile, a new Peppa Pig attraction is set to open at Legoland Billund, the oldest Legoland park in the world.
The Danish theme park is set to get a brand-new attraction after a three-way deal was reached between Hasbro, Merlin Entertainments and the Lego Group.
All three companies have teamed up to create the world's first Peppa Pig-themed Duplo attraction, which is set to open at Legoland Billund.
According to , there will be rides and attractions inspired by the popular children's TV character at Legoland Billund - although specific details have yet to be released.
