Gareth will light up the evening with a full Christmas party involving everything from classic Christmas tunes and jazzy favourites to Christmas crackers, after winning over Brits with BBC's "The Choir".

His elite musicians, including the "angelic-voiced" Sara and the multi-instrumentalist Laurel, will join him onstage, as will a local choir.

While Gareth and his bandmates will perform on Saturday, the Warner Theatre Company will present a Christmas show on Sunday.

The weekend breaks will last three days, from Friday to Monday, and prices start :

  • Christmas weekend with Gareth Malone at Heythrop Park -
  • Christmas weekend with Gareth Malone at Runnymede -

If you're undecided on where to go, Heythrop Park Hotel is a 300-year-old Grade II building with a £40 million upgrade.

The hotel offers so many activities that fans have called it a 'cruise ship on land'.

There are three restaurants, lounge areas, entertainment venues, hot tubs, a spa and an 18-hole golf course.

Activities include laser clay shooting and archery outside, quizzes, chef-hosted cooking workshops, and indoor tastings of gins, cocktails, and teas.

To enhance the cruise ship vibe, the hotel has terraces, a gaming area, a movie theatre, and reading rooms.

Meanwhile, Runnymede will open this autumn. It will be home to an award-winning spa and is close to Kew Gardens and Swinley Forest.

It will be the first Warner property in Greater London and the first situated on a river.

The Runnymede on Thames will have 205 rooms, each with "individually designed artwork that captures the essence of the historic district and the surrounding natural beauty."

It will also feature a riverfront lounge where visitors can enjoy the views, two restaurants, cocktail terraces, and a brand-new Live Lounge.

Your room will include fast internet access, toiletries and complimentary tea and coffee.

If you plan to drive there, free parking is also available to all visitors for the duration of their stay.

If you'd like to plan even more staycations, Parkdean Resorts released stays from £99 next year.

For a holiday somewhere warmer instead, we found all-inclusive TUI beach holidays with at least 24C temperatures from £250.
