A study by last year also revealed that 37 per cent of Brits don't leave their hotel every day while on holiday, so choosing all-inclusive resorts is a popular option.

Thirty-three per cent of British holidaymakers are said to prioritise selecting a hotel with a range of on-site dining options, and 34 per cent ensure the hotel has a respectable-sized pool.
