Huge Super Nintendo World to open at new Epic Universe theme park next year – with incredible Mario Kart racing ride
THE first images of the new Super Nintendo World land opening at Epic Universe next year have been revealed.
The new Universal theme park, opening in Florida next summer, has five "imaginative worlds" as part of the new resort.
Latest images have revealed what guests can expect from the new Mario-themed attraction, similar to the one in Universal Studios Hollywood.
Guests will enter via the famous green pipe, entering the themed land with sights including Peach's Castle, Piranha Plants and Goombas.
Super Mario Land will have meet and greets with the much-loved characters including Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach - as well as some exciting new rides.
The main attraction will be Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, an AR racing ride.

Entering via Bowser's Castle, guess will steer through the Mario Kart race-tracks, collecting coins and throwing shells along the way (much like the video games).
There will also be Yoshi's Adventure - the first to open in the US - travelling through Mushroom Kingdom while looking for glowing eggs.
Food and drink will be served at Toadstool Cafe, with themed snacks including Super Mushroom Soup and Piranha Plant Caprese.
Want something to go? Then there is also Yoshi's Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats for other food and drink.
Souvenirs can also be bought at the 1-UP Factory and Mario Motors.
At the edge of Super Mario Land will be Donkey Kong Country, with meet and greets with both the main character and Diddy Kong.
The tropical landscape will have the Mine-Cart Madness rollercoaster, where passengers "protect" the golden banana along the way.
There will also be food stands and shops in Donkey Kong Country although more is to be revealed.
And just like the land in LA, guests can use the Power-Up Bands, with extra activities including collecting digital coins and stamps as well as other surprises.
Epic Universe was first announced back in 2019, and more has been revealed about the five other lands.
Here's everything we know so far.
Celestial Park
Guests will enter via the "heart" of the theme park - the mythical themed Celestial Park with "lush living gardens and shimmering waters [...] inspired by astronomical and mythological elements".
The biggest ride in Celestial Park will be the dual-launch rollercoaster Starfall Racers, with speeds up to 62mph while whizzing along the 5,000ft of track, with heights up to 133ft.
There will also be the Constellation Carousel ride as well as the huge wet-play area, Astronomica.
Restaurants will include The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant serving Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine as well as Atlantic, a Victorian-themed surf and turf restaurant.
BBQ food will be served at The Oak & Star Tavern while Pizza Moon will offer Italian snacks and specialities.
The on-site hotel will also be in Celestial Park, with the 500-room Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
Isle of Berk
Based on How To Train A Dragon, the Isle of Berk will have four attractions set around a huge water lagoon with 40ft Viking statues.
Family rollercoaster Hiccup's Wing Gliders lets passengers fly alongside Hiccup and Toothless on a winged flying machine.
Fyre Drill, will let guests fire water cannons at targets while on a dragon boat, with other rides including Dragon Racer's Rally and a Biking Training Camp.
Live shows, character meet and greets and souvenirs will also be available in the land.
And food will be found at both the Mead Hall and Spit Fyre Grill.
Dark Universe
More is to be revealed about the Dark Universe land, although guests will be able to travel through the mystery world along with Dr Victoria, while conducting Frankenstein's experiments.
