A MUM flew to Paris with her kids to celebrate her birthday — and says it was cheaper than taking them to a theme park in Britain.
Stefanie Curran, 40, bought three £55 return flights and spent the 11-hour break sightseeing, shopping and eating pastries with sons Brody, 11, and Romeo, seven.
She reckons a day at a UK theme park would have cost £100 more.
The social enterprise director, from Torquay, Devon, said: “I wanted to do something special for my 40th birthday.
“Even our local waterpark costs £95 per person, and Legoland is £500 for an overnight stay.
“Flying to Paris was definitely cheaper.”

The family flew from Bristol and took a £126 return taxi to the Eiffel Tower for breakfast.
They then toured the city on a £71 sightseeing bus — with a total travel cost of £362.
She said: "The bus saved our legs from getting tired and meant we could see loads of the main sights.
"You can get on and off wherever you want, which worked really well for us.
