THE country's largest tour operator is launching package holidays to a "charming" beach holiday destination in Europe.
Brit holidaymakers will now be able to book package holidays to Sozopol, Bulgaria, with Jet2.
The tour operator has confirmed that it will be increasing its summer capacity to Sozopol by adding hotels across the seaside town to its portfolio.
Jet2 already has direct flights from nine UK bases, including Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle International, to Burgas Airport in Bulgaria.
The package holidays will include transfers to and from Burgas Airport to Sozopol.

A range of three and four star hotels will go on sale with the tour operator, with several different board options to choose from.
Located on the the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, some 35 kilometres south of Burgas, the ancient seaside town of Sozopol is known for its cobbled streets, terracotta-topped houses and wooden buildings.
The seaside town has two beaches, Central Beach and Harmanite Beach.
Nature lovers can also visit Ropotamo Nature Reserve or the Blatoto Alepu National Park.

Nearby, there's also Neptun Aqua Park - a large aqua park with several water slides and pools.
The Bulgarian seaside town has been praised by holidaymakers on TripAdvisor.
One person wrote: "The views around the town are stunning, especially the old Fort, cobbled streets and wooden houses. It's well worth a visit."
Another guest claimed the town's beach was the "best in Bulgaria".

Sun Online Travel have found seven-night packages from the UK to Sozopol for £368 per person.
OTHER NEW ROUTES
Jet2 isn't the only airline expanding its offering in 2024.
Earlier this week, easyJet announced the opening of its first new UK base in over a decade.
The budget airline, which already has eight bases around the UK, will operate 16 new routes from its brand-new base at Birmingham Airport.
From Birmingham Airport, easyJet will fly to Barcelona, Malaga, Alicante, Fuerteventura and Tenerife.
Other new routes are set to include Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey, as well as other destinations in Greece like Rhodes, Kos, Heraklion and Corfu.
EasyJet will also operate flights from Birmingham Airport to Berlin, Sharm El Sheikh, Larnaca Intl and Jersey.
The low-cost airline is also set to operate a brand-new route between London Gatwick and a newly-revamp airport in Italy.
The airline will fly twice weekly from London Gatwick to Pontecagnano (Salerno) Airport, which is currently undergoing a huge £400million renovation, making easyJet the first UK airline to operate commercial flights to Salerno Airport.

From July, twice-weekly flights will depart every Tuesday and Saturday, with one-way tickets starting from £27.99.
Ryanair is also launching flights from Cornwall Airport and Cardiff Airport, with new routes to Paris and Faro among some of those announced.
