Those looking to go this year can buy tickets once they're released on March 18.

Parents were keen to get tickets to the popular attraction in Whitmoor Forest, near Ascot in Berkshire, with last year's tickets selling out just hours after they were released.

Those who want to buy the tickets, which sell out fast, have the option of either waiting online with the booking window open or leaving their details.

, LaplandUK staff will then inform you when you have reached the front of the queue and you'll then have 25 minutes to complete the booking.

Last year the event ran from November 11 until December 24, with tickets ranging in price from £60-£190.

For those lucky kids who'll get to visit the magical land, they'll be greeted with a letter from Father Christmas with an invitation to Lapland to help make toys for Christmas.

After some cheerful elves welcome the guests a door is opened onto a snowy Lapland.

There, the children are set a series of tasks they complete with the elves and Father Christmas, including toy building and gingerbread decorating.

Once the children have finished with their tasks, families are given 90 minutes of free time in the Elves' village.

Families can explore the wintry, festive town square centred around a large ice rink, with several shops including an elf post office and a restaurant serving food like pizza, mac 'n' cheese and burgers and chips.

The kids will be excited to learn they'll get a special tour of the reindeer enclosure and will also get to visit Santa himself in the quaintest of log cabins.

The attraction is hugely popular and sells out quickly each year, but it is also a big hit with celebrities and royals.
