A HIKING trail in the UK has been described as "so perfect" that people cannot believe it hasn't been custom-made.

The path is lined with pools of clear water, making it a popular wild swimming spot, particularly on warm days.

Snowdonia National Park is home to some of the country's most beautiful scenery, including lakes, waterfalls and of course Mount Snowdon.

However, it's a hiking trail that has been picking up plaudits from travellers, with some saying it's "one of the most beautiful spots in the whole of the UK".

Watkin Path offers a challenging and steep route up Snowdon.

A section of trail runs alongside pools of crystal clear waters where hikers will often cool themselves off after spending the day trekking.

Among its fans are Instagrammers Emily and Krystina, who run the account , where they share videos of their favourite spots in the country.

They visited the path and in , said: "What’s the big deal? This is a big deal.

"I think it speaks for itself. This place has the most beautiful natural infinity pools and so many to choose from."

Others commented on the video saying it was

One wrote: "It's a great one when warm. So you can plunge in the pools."

Another said: "One of our favourite paths."

Instagram isn't the only place where people have been urging others to pay a visit either.

said it looked as if it had been created by humans due to how "perfect" it is.

They wrote: "This has to be one of the most beautiful spots in the whole of Snowdonia and, maybe therefore, in the whole of the UK.

"It’s difficult to believe this spot hasn’t been man-made, it’s so perfect for swimming, jumping in or just relaxing.

"The way the river has carved out these great, deep and clear natural pools with perfect grass edges that you can use to slide into the stream or jump from if you prefer."

Getting to Watkin Path isn't too straightforward and does require some tricky hiking.

However, those who put the effort in are rewarded for their hard work.

explained: "The journey to Watkin Pools is as much a part of the adventure as the swim itself.

"After a scenic hike through enchanting woodlands and alongside cascading waterfalls, swimmers are rewarded with the sight of pristine turquoise waters cradled by rugged mountain terrain.

"The pools' cool, inviting waters offer an exhilarating swim, making it a perfect reward for those who dare to take the road less travelled."

There, swimmers can take in the views overlooking the nearby scenery.

Surrounded by beautiful hills and rocks, these crystal clear fairy pools are well known by visitors to the isle.

The pools are pretty chilly but are still a beautiful sight for anyone who might want to pay a visit.
