A PRE-FLIGHT fry-up, usually with an accompanying pint, is a ritual for many Brits who have an early morning plane to catch.
Most holidaymakers will already know that airports across the UK can charge over the odds for meals.
Despite this common knowledge, it can also be a bit of a sting to see the exactly how much a meal will actually cost.
In a bid to take away some of the uncertainty, a team of travel experts at Jack’s Flight Club has revealed the most and least expensive airport fry-ups in the UK.
In their brand-new comprehensive guide, called the , the travel experts analysed Google reviews alongside the menus of 65 restaurants at 15 of the UK’s highest-rated airports.
According to the research, the average price for a full English breakfast at a UK airport is £13.50, with the average fry-up contain seven different components.

“It turns out, those in the North East hit the jackpot, boasting not only the most wallet-friendly full English but also the top-rated airport for dining experiences. Our team has eagerly begun testing the restaurants we analysed, and we’re excited for our index to assist any travellers looking to get the best bangers for their buck.”
