A FREQUENT flyer who jets thousands of miles a year has revealed the easiest way Brits can snag the best seats.
Father-of-two David Alwadish said he travels around 60,000 miles each year between his Florida and New York homes.
The 67-year-old CEO of 'ItsEasy' - which specialises in expediting travel-related paperwork - said frantically boarding an economy flight can leave you with a seat worse than what you could of had by hanging back.
Speaking to , he said: "I’m absolutely the last one onto a plane.
"All those people doing this barbaric dance of rushing to board — it’s as if they want to get to Florida before me, but, of course, they’re not going to."
When explaining why he opts for a more take-it-easy approach he revealed that by waiting for everyone to jump on the plane first he can scout the leftovers.
He continued: "I just sit there, waiting, and then board the plane after all of them.
"I might be in a middle seat at the back of the plane, but if you’re the last one on, you can see which other seats are open once they’ve closed the boarding doors, say, an aisle closer to the front."
For example, if you get on last and see an empty seat with an equally empty seat behind it, you can comfortably keep yours all the way back without the worry of bothering a passenger behind you.
