Budget airline to scrap two routes from the UK this summer
TWO airports in the UK have been affected by a budget airline scrapping flights ahead of this summer.
A number of routes have been suspended by Wizz Air due to what they describe as reduced demand.
Included in those routes are flights to both Birmingham and Liverpool.
The airline will no longer operate flights from Cluj-Napoca in Romania to the two UK cities.
The unofficial Transylvanian capital used to have Wizz Air connections to both but will no longer do so after March 27.
That is when the flights to and from Birmingham will be scrapped.
