Inside the biggest pub in the UK – with 60 beer taps, on-site microbrewery and curly slide

Customers can also enrol in beer school and learn about the brewing process

THE UK's largest pub has been described as an "immersive craft beer experience" with much more on offer than just a pint and a game of pool.

In fact, the boozer has its own brewery, a huge curly slide and standalone cocktail bar among a number of other features.

BrewDog has thrived since the company launched back in 2007 and 17 years later, it owns the biggest bar in the country.

Its flagship site in Waterloo is much more than a pub, with workspaces, bowling alleys, podcast studios and photo booths among the novelty aspects found inside the giant drinking space.

Of course, there are plenty of opportunities for a pint as well, with sixty beer taps shared across two levels pouring out a number of craft beers.

There are a number of food choices for customers looking to have something to eat with their drinks, including burgers, wings, pizzas and a selection of vegetarian and vegan options.

Upstairs has several private booths, with doors for total privacy, while downstairs has a more open plan feel.

The venue also has its own ice cream van, containing “adult” beer flavoured treats.

explained: "With its own brewery, stand-alone cocktail bar, coffee shop, ice cream van, workspaces and bowling alley… this bar is an immersive craft beer experience for London."

For those who want to gain more from the bar than just having a drink, there's even a "beer school" experience,

It offers an "in-depth dive into the world of craft beer featuring five third pints paired with a selection of cheeses".

The 90 minute guided course involves a beer guide providing a history of the beers and explaining the method in which they are brewed and how to pair them with food.

It costs £25 per head, with nothing more to pay for the cheese and booze.

Other events and experiences include a quiz on Tuesday nights, vegan Mondays, with two for one offers on vegan dishes and wings Wednesday, with bottomless wings from £12 per head.

Meanwhile, dogs are not only welcome, but they can get involved in a "Dog Pawty" with party hats and special ice cream sundaes given out to canine friends.

Visitors have left glowing reviews of the monster pub on TripAdvisor, with some saying it has the "wow factor".

One wrote: "What a day we had.. booked beer school £25pp for my husband as a nice little weekend away treat and I’m still buzzing about the experience a week later."

Another said: "We had the best experience. Can’t wait to go again!"

A third added: "Great place, has the wow factor, something completely different from the norm."
