The pair, who are from Middlesbrough, flocked to Benidorm for one week at the start of the year to escape the January drizzle.

While in Benidorm, Graham and Darren enjoyed highs of 24C in the Spanish holiday hotspot.

On their holiday, the two pals said they spent no more than £17.20 a day on other costs like food and drink.

They kept their outgoings low by dining at budget-friendly pubs and other cheap spots, with pints costing them as little as 80p and fry-ups costing just £3.45.

Graham told Jam Press that he prefers a beer over a brew because they're "cheaper over there".

When Graham is in the UK, he is likely to spend more money in one week.

For example, Graham revealed that he spends £140 on his weekly shop and £40 on takeaways.

Graham also spends £120 on his energy bills, with his total weekly spend costing £290.

Graham told Jam Press: "It says something when a Domino’s pizza is more expensive than a flight to Benidorm.

"I feel not enough is done to help people with the cost of living and people see no way out.

"In the UK - £250 wouldn’t get you much but in Benidorm, that kind of money gets you a lot."

Graham and Darren have posted videos about their winter sun holiday on TikTok.

In , Graham did a tour of his accommodation, which included several beds, a kitchen, and a bathroom for just £70 per person.

Meanwhile, a budget airline has launched a bargain January sale, with flights from Spain to the UK costing less than a tenner.

Vueling, a Spanish low-cost airline, has launched bargain flights from Spain to the UK.

The new campaign has launched as part of the airline's Blue Monday sales, with flights costing as little as £9.35.

The sale will last until Thursday, with as many as 70,000 seats heavily discounted.

Last year, a group of mums flew to Ibiza for the day.

Their adventures saw them join This Morning, with plans to launch their own travel business.

One of them said: "Off the back of all the interest we've had, I've set up doing a travel concierge business that's going to launch at the end of April

"[For] anyone really. Book for groups to be able to go off and seize the day. It's important that people look after themselves."
