The ‘’ home is set over 16 acres in Rushton Spencer and offers incredible views of Rudyard Lake.

To make it even better, Alton Towers is just 15 miles away from the property.

To keep consistent with the ski-chalet theme, you’ll find plenty of throws, rugs, blankets, and wood-panelled walls.

With five bedrooms that have been recently refurbished, the property can sleep up to ten guests.

They include two en-suite bedrooms and three double rooms.

Outside, there is a massive outdoor deck with a private hot tub and its own ‘Tikki Bar’.

For those looking to test their hand at making pizza dough, an authentic wood-fired pizza oven is available.

The holiday home even gives you direct access to the lake, and a kayak can be used throughout your stay to explore.

But if that isn’t enough, you’ll also have access to an Irish bar with a pool table, dart board, 65” TV and log burner.

The pub, which is just outside the house, is modelled after Dublin's well-known Temple Bar pub.

The pub has red walls and a black and gold pub sign, reminiscent of the popular Irish tourist destination.

Meanwhile, the interior of the pub has hardwood tables, chairs and bar stools.

Although the home is full of activities, the surrounding area also has much to offer.

Leek is a charming market town that can be reached in only 5 minutes by car, where you can find many antique stores, local and high-street stores and restaurants.

There are also three supermarkets to stock up on supplies for the house.

If you don’t mind travelling further, Bakewell and Chatsworth are also 45 minutes away by car, while the spa resort of Buxton, Derbyshire, is only a 25-minute journey away.

Buxton is one of the Peak District’s most visited tourist spots, with many travelling there to experience its ‘rejuvenating thermal waters’.

In fact, the town is home to the award-winning Devonshire Spa underneath the Devonshire Dome - the largest unsupported Dome in Britain.

Alton Towers is about 30 minutes from the Chalet Du Lac and is home to more than 40 rides and attractions - making it perfect for a day out with the kids.

Some popular rides include Rita, Nemesis, Oblivion, Thirteen and The Smiler, while CBeebies Land is a paradise for younger children.

The property requires a minimum of two nights, which costs £1,368, including the cleaning and Airbnb service fees.

This means that ten guests could book a staycation here from just over £68pp a night.

The house has 4.99/5 stars on Airbnb, with more than 80 reviews, and it’s a ‘guest favourite’.

This means it’s ‘one of the most loved homes on Airbnb based on ratings, reviews and reliability’.

Others describe it as ‘fabulous’ and ‘amazing’ and say that ‘photos don’t really do the house justice.’
