'It was one long party'
BIRTHDAY boy Declan Jnr felt like a celebrity during his Sun holidays long weekend.
The youngster, who turned six, went with his mum Lauren Quinn and five family members to Parkdean Resorts Wemyss Bay Holiday Park, Renfrewshire, to mark his special day.
“We had a great party and the staff gave Declan Jnr his cake on stage and everyone in the entertainment room sang him happy birthday,” says Lauren, 23, who works in a dental practice and also has her own photography business in Edinburgh.
It was Lauren and Declan Jnr’s first Sun Holiday, but she insists it will not be their last.
Declan Jnr has told his gran, Pat Doyle, 63, to collect the codewords in our latest promotion so the family can book their next holiday together.
Lauren adds: “We would be hard pressed to find a better location. There were stunning views out across the Firth of Clyde.
“I wanted Declan Jnr’s birthday to be really special and a Sun holiday was better value than hiring a local hall. It turned into one long party.”
'Entertainment was ace'
TEACHING assistant Emma Sprules reckons Sun Holidays are in a class of their own.
Emma, 39, husband Simon, 44, and their two daughters, Esmay, eight, and four-year-old Jessica, loved every minute of their stay at Chichester Lakeside Holiday Park in Sussex.
She says: “We really enjoyed just chilling out by the lake and watching the ducks. It’s so beautiful.
“The entertainment team were fantastic, always making sure the youngsters were having fun. Jessica even won best dancer in a competition and Esmay couldn’t wait to get up on stage. There was plenty for the adults to enjoy too.
“I really appreciated those moments when I could just sit back and chill out, knowing the children were safe and being well looked after.”

Civil servant Simon, who lives with his family in Crawley, West Sussex, adds: “With young children it really is the perfect holiday. Everything is catered for. And you can’t beat the price.
“We can’t wait to book another holiday with The Sun. They just keep getting better and better.”
