The little-known airline launching new flights to Europe from the UK
A SMALL European airline is set to launch new flights from the UK to Europe next spring.
Brit holidaymakers can already start looking forward to March 2024, after a Romanian airline announced a new route from the UK to Europe.
Dan Air, a Romanian-based airline that launched its own branded flights earlier this year, will add an additional service to its route at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The news was announced by Liverpool John Lennon Airport on X (formerly Twitter) last week.
Dan Air has already launched flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Bacau in Romania.
The Romanian airline currently operates one flight a week between the two cities every Thursday.

By next March, the airline will operate an additional flight between Liverpool and Bacau.
The new flight will depart from Liverpool John Lennon Airport every Sunday at 3.45pm, with a flight time of three hours and 20 minutes.
Dan Air also operates two weekly flights from London Luton Airport to Bacau.
Set in the east of the country, Bacau is the 14th largest city in Romania.
The city is located at the bottom of the Carpathian Mountains, and it's also set on the Bistrița River.
Despite the city's small size, there are a handful of attractions for tourists to visit.
One of them is Biserica Precista, which has been described as one of the "most beautiful churches" in the city.
Other attractions include the Victor Anestin Observatory and Gepex Park, which is a small water park.
Meanwhile, Parcul din Slanic Moldova (a large country park) is one of the region's top tourist attractions.
The news comes after German airline Lufthansa announced that it would be scrapping all of its flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The German airline only started running flights between Liverpool's John Lennon Airport and Frankfurt in May 2022.
However, that route will be scrapped from February, despite an increase in the number of flights between the two airports as recently as this summer.
Meanwhile, plenty of other airlines are launching new routes from the UK to holiday destinations across the globe.
British Airways will be resuming flights from London Stansted for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
The flag carrier has confirmed that three new routes will depart from the London airport, with prices starting at £36 for a one-way ticket.
Budget airline Ryanair is launching flights to Spain, Portugal, and Malta, from Norwich Airport.
As it stands, the airport only serves a handful of foreign destinations, which means the Ryanair expansion is great news for holidaymakers in East Anglia.
The flights will run on both Mondays and Fridays, according to the aviation website Simple Flying.
