Five new water attractions opening in the UK next year – with indoor beaches, swim up bars and Disney-style resorts
IF you fancy a dip in a swimming pool or a whizz down a water slide, then there are some very exciting attractions coming to the UK.
From surf lagoons to indoor water parks, here are five of the new water attractions set to open next year.
Therme Manchester
The biggest new attraction for 2025 is Therme Manchester, a massive indoor water attraction.
The size of 18 football pitches, inside will be 25 swimming pols, 25 water slides and even an indoor beach.
Spas, restaurants, swim up bars and a wellbeing garden will all be part of the £250million resort.
If you can't wait until then, Therme Bucharest in Romania is already open.

Modern Surf Manchester
Part of the same £2.6billion renovation that includes Therme is Modern Surf Manchester.
The surfing lagoon will offer lessons to both beginners and experts, with a long pier splitting the two pools.
Other sports facilities on-site will include skating and bouldering facilities.
A clubhouse will have a bar as well as viewing platforms.
Chessington World of Adventures waterpark
Chessington World of Adventures has revealed plans for a new waterpark - that could even rival Disney.
The plans show how the safari hotel could be expanded to include the water park which would have wave, infinity and spa pools.
Lazy and rapid rivers, water slides as well as beach cabanas and bars are also part of the project.
It hopes to be an "affordable" option which could even open to day visitors rather then overnight stay guests.
The Cove Resort, Southport
Southport also hopes to open it's own surfing attraction, called The Cove Resort.
The £75million resort would open on the coast, although has it's own sandy beach.
Along with the centre water lagoon, it will also have a thermal spa with steam rooms and saunas.
A four-star hotel will also be on-site for guests.
The Seahive, Deal
Also in Kent is plans for The Seahive, which will be the first "surfing wellness resort" in the UK.
The main part of the attraction would be the lagoon and surf pool, with artificial waves.
Also on-site would be a skate park, luxury hotel and holiday lodges.
It hopes to attract both beginners and even those training for the Olympics.
While not a water attraction, The Leas Lift in Folkestone is set to reopen in 2025, which is right next to the beach.
