A 500-YEAR-OLD castle has been named one of the world's best attractions, but Brits can only visit at specific times.
Lindisfarne Castle attracts thousands of visitors every year thanks to its long history and unique location.

Set on Northumberland's Holy Island, the remote castle had over 500 years of history from its beginnings as a defensive fortress to becoming a holiday home.
Holy Island is connected to the British mainland via a long causeway, which is only accessible at low tide.
While the tides can be accurately predicted, holidaymakers will need to check the crossings on the day.
Lindisfarne Castle has been a National Trust property since 1944, and it has been open to the public ever since.
Inside the castle, visitors will be able to explore a mixture of different rooms, including a dining room, a kitchen, and bedrooms, as well as the upper battery, which offers panoramic views of the sea.
In addition to exploring the interior of the castle, there are plenty of other things to see.
One of those is the walled garden, which is described as a "riot of colour and fragrance" in the summer.
A contemporary sound installation by artist Paul Rooney has also been on display in the castle since 2022.

Visitors will be able to spot different species of wildlife around the castle, including seals and birds.
Entry tickets into the castle cost £8.50 for a full-paying adult, and £4.25 for a child.
The castle opens for the summer season in early March when it will be open from around 10am until 5pm - although these times vary depending on the tide.
The castle has received a 4/5 star rating from more than 1,400 reviews on TripAdvisor.
It has also been recognised as a Tripadvisor 2023 Travellers’ Choice award winner too.
One person wrote: "What a beautiful place to visit, and it was expertly curated from start to finish. It was particularly nice being greeted with a beautiful postcard, which was an invite to visit the castle."
Another added: "A fascinating place to visit, with an interesting history as fortification and the country house."
While a third person commented: "A small castle, but it's still very interesting, with a rich history."
Someone else said: "It's like a fairytale castle."
There are other tourist attractions on Holy Island, including Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve and The Parish Church of Saint Mary the Virgin.
