The budget-friendly UK alternative to Lapland with reindeer, hidden elf town and brand new Christmas village
THE UK is home to its very own miniature Lapland - but it costs a fraction of the price to visit.
The winter attraction will run for four weeks in north Wales, with festive fun, activities, and food and drinks on offer.
In 2019, outdoor clothing company Regatta named Reindeer Lodge as a budget alternative to Lapland.
The Reindeer Lodge is a 1.5km Drive-Thru attraction, where holidaymakers will be able to spot real reindeer herds in their paddocks and stables.
Woodland lighting will also be hung throughout the Drive-Thru experience, and there will also be a water display too.
There will also be a hidden elf village with a toy workshop, and younger visitors will also be able to meet Father Christmas himself.

Children will be able to receive a gift and a card from Santa Claus, all from the comfort of their own car.
New for this year, Reindeer Lodge will also have a walk-in Christmas village, which visitors will be able to enjoy after the Drive-Thru.
Visitors can expect to find wooden stalls selling gifts and festive food, as well as a virtual reality sleigh.
There will also be other festive activities like face painting, the opportunity to post letters to Father Christmas, as well as other rides and attractions.

Reindeer Lodge is situated in Mold in Flintshire, Wales.
The festive attraction is a 30-minute drive from Wrexham, and it's a 35-minute drive from Chester.
This year, Reindeer Lodge will be open from November 24, 2023, until Christmas Eve.
Entry tickets must be booked in advance online, with a ticket for a family of four costing £62.
The site has also been favorably reviewed on TripAdvisor.
One person wrote: "There were plenty of opportunities to see the reindeer, with lovely lit decorations.
"The kids got a reindeer cuddly toy as well. It was a great activity for Christmas Eve."
Another person added: "The lights were really effective, and the reindeer were lovely to see. There was also lots of stuff to entertain younger children."
While a third wrote: "A brilliant family event. It was great to see real reindeer too."
There are plenty of other festive attractions in the UK.
One of those is The Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham, which is said to be the largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany.
Meanwhile, Finland is home to the official hometown of Father Christmas.
Located in Rovaniemi in northern Finland, the Santa Claus Village is festive all year, but really comes into its own in November and December.
