Budget British hotel chain crowned ‘best in UK’ has monsoon showers & rooms from only £42 a night
A LESSER-KNOWN hotel chain has been named the best in the UK, with its cleanliness, comfortable beds and value for money putting it top of the pile.
The list was produced by consumer experts Which? who took into consideration feedback from thousands of hotel guests to draw up their table.
In top spot, with a 77 per cent customer satisfaction rating was Premier Inn Hub.
As their name suggests, the Hub hotels are different to normal Premier Inn accommodation, with the rooms slightly smaller.
However, there's still more than enough in them, with guests mostly impressed with their stays.
What's more, they all tend to be in central locations, putting visitors closer to the action.

The Hub spin-off hotels are only found in Edinburgh and London, offering comfortable yet compact stays in both cities.
said: "The UK’s largest hotel chain has landed one of the top spots in our past 10 surveys. This year it was pipped to the post by its spin-off brand, Hub, which you’ll only find in London and Edinburgh.
"Its spotless rooms are small – some don’t even have windows – but they’re in great locations, right in the city centre.
"And they squeeze in everything you get in an ordinary Premier Inn, except a kettle."
