Inside the amazing underground hotel in the UK with no windows – but offers the ‘best sleep ever’
THE first underground hotel has launched in London - and it claims to be able to make you sleep better.
Zedwell, a chain of hotels in the capital city, opened a new branch at Tottenham Court Road earlier this year.
However, the entire hotel is underground - so don't expect any killer views from your room.
This means no windows, so anyone who has claustrophobia might struggle.
Each room also has no clutter or "distractions from the outside world" so this means TVs or gadgets Either.
This is because of the "buzzing energy that disturbs sleep" according to the hotel.

Don't worry about being too off the grid - there is free WiFi throughout the building.
The rooms also include "ambient circadian rhythm based lighting and noise reducing walls, floors and doors [to] create the ultimate sanctuary".
You can choose from a "cocoon for one" which has a single bed, while there are also double and twin rooms, along with family rooms for three to six.
The website states: "Inspired by the concept of "sleep hygiene," the hotel's design is focused on creating an environment that supports restful and rejuvenating sleep.

If you fancy trying the Zedwell hotels' sleeping experiences without going underground, there is Zedwell Piccadilly and Zedwell Greenwich which are above ground.
And it's not the only sleep-focused hotel in the UK.
The Deep Sleep, in North Wales, is a hotel found 1,375ft below ground in a former slate mine.
You can only visit once a week - with guests checking in on Saturdays, before trekking for 45 minutes to the rooms.
And back in 2018, a hotel launched rooms designed "like a womb" to make guests sleep better.
But if you are still struggling, a sleep expert has revealed how to get some better kip at a hotel.
Carl Walsh, boss of BedGuru, explained that rooms should be between 15C and 20C to sleep best.
