LEGOLAND has finally opened its new theme park attraction just in time for the half-term holidays - and it's even great for young kids.

Legoland Adventure Golf is a new standalone attraction just outside the Windsor theme park.

Inside the UK-first attraction is a 9-hole golf course, with themed models along the way.

This includes Space, Medieval Village, LEGO City and Pirates.

And huge models include a giant octopus with tentacles over 2.5m wide and made of over 150,000 bricks as well as a 1.5m tall ice cream sundae, made of over 65,000 LEGO bricks.

Helen Bull, Divisional Director at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort said: “After Team Europe’s Ryder Cup success, it is so exciting to tee-off the first ever LEGO themed indoor golf experience at our iconic Windsor Resort.

“LEGOLAND Adventure Golf will give guests of all ages and abilities the chance to have play, have fun and build more memories together and who knows, maybe it will even inspire more golfing talent of the future!”

The new attraction is for kids aged three and over, with groups of six able to play at one time.

To visit, families will need to buy a separate ticket to the Windsor theme park.

Taking around one hour, tickets cost £10pp or £7.50pp when adding onto a Legoland Windsor ticket.

Legoland itself has a whopping 55 rides inside including the famous Driving School and Pirate Goldwash.

Other popular rides include the Jolly Rocker, The Dragon and Pirate Falls: Treasure Quest.

Also new this year is the Ferrari Build and Race attraction.

There are three interactive zones - Build and Race, Ferrari LEGO model, and a DUPLO® build zone - and kids can learn about Ferrari's race history too.

And in 2022, the new Legoland Mythica land opened.

It's main attraction, Flight Of The Sky Lion, is the UK’s first flying theatre experience with a 4D film show played alongside the 25- metre-tall ride.

Other rides include the Fire And Ice Freefall and super-soaker Hydra’s Challenge.

However, one of Legoland's popular water rides shut down last month for good.

Viking River Splash, which first opened in 2007, welcomed its last guests on September 25.

But there are other exciting planes for Legoland along with the new golf attraction.

A huge new  £35million holiday village is set to open at the theme park.

Inside will be 150 holiday lodges, as well as nature trails, live entertainment and story telling as well as an onsite restaurant.

The Woodland village is set to open in May 2024, with prices from £249 for a family lodge, breakfast and one-day park tickets.
