Inside the incredible pirate-themed resort in Majorca – with splash park, live shows and ‘pirate attacks’
A PIRATE-THEMED resort in Majorca has been described as both "exciting" and "unforgettable" by guests, with plenty already planning return trips.
Keeping youngsters entertained on holiday isn't always easy, but when your resort is entirely pirate-themed, there's a few more options to choose from.
Families who visit Pirates Village in Santa Ponsa are promised to be "immersed in a world of pirates and fantasy where you will lack for nothing" according to its website.
The resort claims: "You only have to worry about one thing: having fun and enjoying yourself."
On the face of it, Pirates Village has pretty much everything you might expect from an all-inclusive holiday resort.
That includes swimming pools, sports and play areas and bars and restaurants.

Parents don't have to play pirates with their youngsters for the entirety of their holiday however, with the Pirate's Cavern offering an indoor cooled area, an outdoor covered area and an outdoor uncovered area for children.
It has a range of equipment, including a stage, a bouncy castle, interactive computers and games and parents can leave their children there with staff between 10am and 5pm every day.
There are other activities on offer for guests of all ages too, including mermaid classes, darts and pool activities.
The Platja de Santa Ponça beach is less than ten minutes' walk away for anyone looking to avoid pirate raids or just take a break by the sea.
The resort has an overall rating of 4/5 on TripAdvisor.
