A FREQUENT traveller has revealed a clever hack to save space when packing and it costs as little as 70p.

TV star Tan France has revealed what he always includes in his carry-on luggage when setting off anywhere.

The fashion expert from Netflix show Queer Eye recommends buying stackable travel jars, which he uses to cram all his toiletries into hand luggage.

He told how the jars - available on for £3.99 for a pack of six - "aren't big" and "could fit inside a shoe".

He uses the jars to keep his toiletries close to hand at all times, rather than entrusting them to the hold of a plane - saying he's "always worried" the airline could lose his bag.

He said: "As long as I can take care of my skincare regimen, I'm set.

Tan also said his other travel essentials are "a great pair of jeans", comfortable trainers and "a small bag of accessories".

The 40-year-old English-American fashion designer also recommended leaving small handbags at home and just using one bag that goes with everything, to free up space for clothes.
