I went to the new Disneyland Paris Marvel attraction – here are the secret tricks to the rides

GUARDIANS Of The Galaxy fans with Knowhere to go should try heading to Disneyland Paris.

Volume 3 of the blockbuster trilogy aired in cinemas this month and the French theme park has definitely taken the superhero fun up a notch.

It has got brand-new experiences, food and merchandise to celebrate.

And there’s no better place to toast the film’s launch than at the park’s Avengers Campus, which opened last year, bringing the fictional stories to life in a land designed to “recruit and train the next generation of superheroes”.

From thrilling rides that propel you from zero to almost 100km/h in under three seconds, to themed gift shops selling replicas of the costumes seen on cinema screens, the campus is every Marvel fan’s dream come true.

For a limited time, you can enjoy additional Guardians Of The Galaxy-themed activities, such as exclusive meet-and-greets with Gamora and Star-Lord.

You can even challenge them to a dance-off to the movie’s famous soundtrack – if you’ve got what it takes.

If you really want to get in on the action, Spider-Man W.E.B Adventure throws you into the heart of your own movie, where you’ll be tasked with helping the action hero to defeat some out-of-control Spider-Bots.

The interactive ride uses special technology to track the movement of your wrists so you can sling webs at bots crawling across a giant TV screen.

The more you hit, the more points your team earns.

If you’re super-competitive like me, our Disney guide let us in on an insider trick . . .  the instruction video will tell you to use the classic “Spider-Man hands” pose.

But you only need to move your arms to gain points – meaning you can move more quickly.

It has been one of the most-loved attractions on the Campus since its opening, suitable for visitors aged two through to even 82 – and I must admit, it was my favourite.

When it comes to food and drinks, the site was already brimming with plenty of Avenger-themed options.

Exclusive access

But now you can get a taste of brand-new special delicacies inspired by the latest film.

The exclusive treats include a Cosmic Cassette ice cream and a Guardians Choco orb made from a hard chocolate sphere with a soft mousse inside.

With the Guardians reuniting for one last intergalactic road trip, now is the time to stay at the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, where you can live like a superhero and learn their moves at the Hero Training Zone.

You’ll have access to the exclusive Jack Kirby Legacy Gallery exhibition, with original concept art from Volumes 1 and 2 – and even some space suits from the latest instalment.

And if you fancy a drink that’s out of this world, the Skyline Bar is the perfect place to end your night.

Here you can indulge in yummy cocktails and mocktails, but keep an eye out for any familiar faces flying by the bar’s Manhattan skyline windows.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3 events will run for a limited time.
