The cheeky airlines that now charge Brits for hand luggage
MORE airlines are scrapping hand luggage for passengers unless they want to fork out extra cash.
While savvy travellers are finding clever ways around the strict rules, many popular carriers are now forcing people to pay if they want to take a suitcase into the cabin.
Some UK airlines are yet to follow suit - Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Jet2 and TUI still allow a free suitcase.

From June 1, passengers booking the most basic ticket will only be able to take a small bag measuring 40cm x 30cm x 15cm into the cabin, which must fit underneath the seat.
