A PARK in the UK has been compared to a bucket list destination in New Zealand because of its breathtaking views and hikes.
The Snowdonia National Park in Wales has been likened to Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park because of its mountain ranges and breathtaking views.

Between June and August, visitors flock to the national park in Wales. and in recent years, holidaymakers have taken to social media to share the comparison.
UK Hidden Gems posted a video on TikTok with the caption: "UK places that look like they're in a different country."
In the , a picture of Snowdonia was placed next to a shot of New Zealand National Park.
As the two images were put side-by-side, several people in the comments couldn't believe that one of the parks was in the UK.

And travel experts at My Baggage recently told : "The tallest mountain in Wales has drawn a comparison to the Aoraki/Mount Cook in New Zealand and rightly so.
"The colossal mountain range is met with lush vegetation, flowing river courses, and blessed with some of Britain’s more distinct forms of wildlife."
Snowdonia National Park is set in North Wales and is home to the tallest mountain in Wales, Mount Snowdon.
The park is free to enter, making it a holiday haven for Brits who love the great outdoors.

While many hikers opt to climb Mount Snowdon, there is also a little railway called the Snowdon Mountain Railway that takes visitors to the summit.
It takes one hour to reach the top of the mountain on the train, and a return ticket costs £32 for a full-paying adult.
Other activities include riding the world's fastest zip wire at Zip World or spending an afternoon at a surf lagoon at Adventure Parc Snowdonia.
There are also plenty of other walking routes, hiking trails, and luscious green spaces for ramblers to enjoy.
Just outside of Snowdonia National Park, holidaymakers can visit the Italian-inspired town of Portmeirion.
Conwy Castle and Caernarfon Castle are also a stone's throw away.
But this isn't the only destination in the UK that's been compared to a holiday hotspot.
The small market town of Hitchin has been linked to a French holiday hotspot for several years.

Meanwhile, a northern seaside town has been nicknamed Las Vegas of the UK because of its arcades, cabaret, and sandy beaches.
