Polar Express tickets now on sale for Christmas 2024 — with £179pp overnight stays & freebies
ALTHOUGH Christmas feels like a lifetime away, tickets to the hugely popular Polar Express rides have been released for 2024.
The festive packages will include return coach travel, an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast, and a ride aboard the Polar Express.
The on the Wensleydale Railway departs from Leeming Bar station, so you'll get an overnight stay in a three-star or four-star hotel nearby.
You'll have the choice between booking a triple, double or twin room, with the triple room sleeping up to two adults, one child and one infant.
The biggest room is the quadruple, which can accommodate up for four people.
The staycation also includes a visit to York, which will be decked out for the festive season with lights, Christmas markets and trees.

The themed holidays are based on the namesake's film, which follows a young boy who travels on a wonderful journey to the North Pole on the Polar Express.

On the train, families can sing along to classic Christmas carols and listen to the story of the Polar Express while waiting for Santa Claus to make an appearance on board.
To make it even more special, Santa will give a Christmas gift to all children on board.
Kids are encouraged to dress in their pyjamas to make the experience even more cosy and unique.
Guests of the Polar Express will also receive a freshly baked cookie and a mug of hot chocolate.
Premium seats are also available for an extra £15pp, and they include a Polar Express Souvenir Ceramic Mug to take home.
Single rooms are also available, but they will cost an extra £35.
