The new winter sun destination 5 hours from UK & 27C in November – that TUI is launching ‘great value’ hols to this week
AN affordable holiday destination is opening to Brits this year, thanks to new flights from TUI.
The little know holiday resort in Egypt, Marsa Alam, is the latest new destination for the tour operator.
Having launched new flights to Senegal last winter, the latest new destination is perfect or Brits wanting great value breaks and good weather.
Found in the south of Egypt - and around 200 miles from Hurghada - the hotspot is yet to become as popular as other well-known resorts such as Sharm el Sheikh.
Not only that, but the weather is warm all year round with highs of 27C in November.
And from November 1, 2023, TUI is launching two weekly flights from London Gatwick to Marsa Alam International Airport, taking around five hours.

there are eight new resorts to choose from, and Brits can book both package holidays and flight-only breaks.
This includes the adult only Steigenberger Coraya Beach, with breaks while in a balcony room which includes transfers and 15kg luggage.
Or there is the Jaz Grand Marsa resort, which on an all-inclusive basis, also with transfers and luggage.
Other all-inclusive resorts include the Hilton Marsa Alam and the Albatros Sea World Marsa Alam.
While there, Brits will be able to book daily excursions like sailing the River Nile, exploring the Wadi El Gemal National Park or diving the world-famous Elphistone Reef.

This isn't the only hotspot in Egypt that is becoming popular with Brits.
El Gouna, a tiny resort outside of Hurghada, is becoming popular as an "affordable" luxury resort with holidays from £410pp.
There resort town even has Maldives-style overwater villas you can book for a bargain.
And Egypt has been named the 'best value for money' destination, according to the Post Office Travel Money analysis.
Brits will get almost 73 per cent more than a year ago for their pound – which is equivalent to more than £210 extra when exchanging £500.
