THE most underrated city break has been revealed in a new study - and it's only four hours from the UK.
The rankings were put together by travel company Bounce, based on the number of things available to do in each destination and their star-rating according to visitors.
Top spot was taken by Rhodes, , which achieved an overall score of 8.95 out of 10 from customer surveys.
Despite this, and the fact it's only a four hour flight from the UK with rooms from just £27 according to booking.com, it boasts just 2.41 million international arrivals each year.
This was the lowest figure in the top 10.
Marrakesh, and Porto, were tied in a close second, with a score of 8.74 apiece.

The former enjoyed a higher percentage of five-star ranked things to do, but its score was dragged down by the 3.02 million annual visitors, making it less underrated than it might otherwise have been.
Tourists also loved Porto due to the availability and quality of its local port wine.
Heraklion, Greece was fourth, while Rio de Janeiro, rounded out the top five as one of just two non-European cities to make the top half of the list.

South America and Africa were the next-best continents, with two each, while North America only enjoyed one entry.
Sadly for fans of Australasia and Asia, neither received any recognition despite their range of excellent holiday destinations.
Nice, France came bottom of the top 10, a whole point below Rhodes with a score of just 7.84.
Meanwhile, Bounce also revealed the most overrated city break.
The study named Paris, France in the undesirable bottom spot, with a score of just 1.43 out of 10.
