THE SAFEST country in Europe has been revealed - and you can get there for just £19.
Safety is, understandably, high on people's list when it comes to booking a holiday, and one destination that stands out for being low risk is less than two hours from the UK.
The study was conducted by analysing a number of criteria to determine where the risk was the lowest.
This included homicide and assault rates, as well as road accidents, the risk of natural disasters and the global peace index.
The study found Switzerland to be the safest country in Europe.
They stated in the research: "With very low homicide, assault and road fatalities, travellers are likely to be very safe in this country.

"Switzerland also has a very low risk of natural disasters and one of the lowest levels of corruption perception in Europe.
"With stunning ski slopes and scenic hiking trails, this is a must-visit for travellers who want to see the beauty Europe has to offer."
Coming in second place was Iceland, followed by the Nordic countries of Norway and Denmark.
Luxembourg came in fifth, followed by Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands and Austria.

You can fly to the Swiss capital Geneva for just £19 each way, with the cheapest route being from London Luton with easyJet taking around 1hr40.
Jet2, British Airways and Swiss also operate between the UK and Switzerland.
The UK Foreign Office also confirmed there is a "low rate of serious crime" in Switzerland also warned of some thefts in Geneva.
