Inside German theme park which visitors hail ‘better than Disney Land’ – and you’ve probably never heard of it

A GERMAN theme park has been hailed better than Disney Land, according to visitors.

TikTok user @Packdsuitcase visited Europa-Park in Rust, southwest Germany, and showcased the tourist attraction for the world to see.

Footage revealed numerous attractions the theme park had to offer including rides, family areas and even a rollercoaster-themed restaurant.

During the short clip, the theme park enthusiast said: "This European theme park is better than Disney.

"It is Europe's second most popular theme park.

"With more than 100 attractions and 17 European-themed areas.

"There are 13 rollercoasters, classic thrills, cutting-edge attractions found nowhere else and dozens of whimsical rides for the whole family.

"The food is delicious and cheap too... there is even a rollercoaster restaurant."

The video has more than 240,000 views.

Europa-Park is the biggest theme park in Germany and attracts more than five million visitors annually.

It was first built and opened in 1975 but has since gone under many transformations.

Tickets for the park cost between £40 and £300.

It is located in the border triangle region of Germany, France and Switzerland and is about 34 miles south of Strasbourg.

And most visitors agreed with the TikTokers claim that it was "better than Disneyland".

"It is definitely better than Disneyland, but it is super crowded," a TikTok user said.

"I've never even heard of it but I want to go there," one said.

"I've been there more times than I can count... I love Disney but Europa-Park is better," another said.
