This Royal Caribbean cruise ship first set sail in 2018 and has taken passengers around the Western Mediterranean, Florida and the Caribbean.

The ship is divided into seven neighbourhoods and the vessel stretches to 1,188ft in length and 215.5ft wide.

It is so large and packed with attractions that the ship's captain, Captain Rick, told Channel 4 documentary Billion Pound Cruise, which airs tonight at 11.05pm that: "The ship itself has become the attraction."

The Boardwalk neighbourhood has a family sports bar, Playmakers, with 30 big-screen TVs and a host of arcade games and new sweet and ice-cream shop Sugar Beach, where kids can decorate their own cakes.

As well as an abundance of pools and two surf lagoons the cruise ship also houses the Ultimate Abyss water slide - the tallest slide at sea that corkscrews down 10 decks.

A total of 1,200 stainless steel triangle and 200 LED lights form a 20ft-high structure called the Paradox Void, while 12,000 tropical plants and trees add to the al-fresco dining ambience in the Central Park neighbourhood.

There are also 20 restaurants onboard and while there are plenty included in the price of the cruise, there’s also ‘extra cost’ eateries.

For example, Hooked - is a New England-style seafood restaurant with a raw bar of fresh fish that's picked up every time the ship docks in both the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

At the Bionic Bar robot bartenders mix cocktails, while imaginative drinks are served by creative chefs at the Wonderland bar.

Food And Beverage Director Emmanuel told the Channel 4 TV show: We consume 340 metric tonnes a week of fresh produce.

"We use 35,000 bottles of cans of beer in seven days."

A two-level Ultimate Family Suite has two bedrooms and sleeps eight people.

Inside the suite a zany slide takes children from their bedroom into the lounge where there is a floor-to-ceiling LEGO wall.

A dining room table converts into either a pool or an ice hockey table while a 3D TV stands in a nook alongside a popcorn machine.

On the wraparound balcony there's even a whirlpool where the entire family can unwind.

There's plenty of entertainment onboard including a performance of Hairspray the musical, a live orchestra, ice-skating shows and an aqua theatre including Hiro, which features high-flying stunts.

The ship carries 6,680 passengers and 2,200 crew members who spread across 18 decks.

This year the Symphony of the Seas will set sail across the Western Mediterranean and Southern Caribbean.

Last year Royal Caribbean unveiled the world’s biggest cruise ship the Icon of the Seas, which is capable of carrying 7,600 passengers and costs more than £2 Billion.
