We scoured the internet and found the best deals for this winter, with prices starting from £128pp a night.

Temperatures in Barbados average a daytime high of around 30C, plus a whopping 3,000 hours of sunshine every year.

However, when it comes to Barbados, there are some months to avoid if you want to enjoy a rain-free holiday.

For instance, from the beginning of June through the end of October, it's hurricane season.

According to the Met Office, September and October are the worst months because of the storms caused by the higher sea temperatures.

So the best time to visit Barbados will be during the dry season, which runs from late November to April.

During the dry season, the average temperature is a little over 30C, and it won't be too humid either.

February is a particularly good month, too, thanks to cultural events running, like the Holetown Festival, a week-long festival that features street parades, folk music, and dance parties.
