The cheapest family rooms in UK seaside destinations this summer – from £17.50pp a night

SEASIDE hotels are back in favour with British families staycationing this summer.

There's still some availability though, and we've scoured the internet to find the best deals at seaside hotels across the country, from £17.50pp.

The cheapest prices come from two of the UK's biggest hotel chains, Travelodge and Premier Inn.

The cheapest room we've found is in Blackpool with rooms .

The deal comes from Travelodge and works out at £17.50pp for a family of four.

To find the cheapest room available this summer, Travelodge launched a new price finder on its website.

To find the biggest bargains, go on  and select your destination.

Once you've chosen your ideal destination, you'll be able to filter the search by price, room type, breakfast and parking availability.

Travelodge offers unlimited breakfast from £8.99, and for each paying adult, two children under the age of 16 can eat for free.

Premier Inn's cheapest deals is at Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset, costing from - working out at .

The family rooms at Premier Inn will have either sofa beds or pull-out beds for the kids depending on the hotel.

Premier Inn also offers a breakfast deal, with up to two under-16s eating breakfast for free when one adult orders a full Premier Inn Breakfast.

The unlimited breakfast is available for just £9.50, and it offers two types of breakfast, the all-you-can-eat cooked breakfast and the continental breakfast.
