Another European holiday hotspot to scrap Covid restrictions next week
MORE Covid restrictions are being scrapped across Europe next week.
Malta has confirmed that holidaymakers will be able to visit without needing to have a Covid test or vaccine.
Currently, Brits need to show evidence of full vaccination or a negative Covid test to enter Malta.
This will be scrapped from July 25, giving Brits a welcome Boost ahead of the summer holidays.
A statement from Visit Malta states: "As from July 25, 2022, people travelling to Malta without a vaccine certificate or a recovery certificate do not need to present a negative PCR/Rapid Test before arriving in Malta."

Malta is just another destination which is lifting all Covid restrictions.
In May, Greece scrapped all Covid entry rules along with Cyprus.
Last month, Egypt ditched the Covid restrictions for tourists and Portugal followed suit earlier this month.
However, some destinations have warned they could bring back some of their Covid rules as cases continue to climb again.

Brits heading to the Canary Islands and the Costa del Sol could be forced to wear masks again if the situation continues to worsen.
Amós García Rojas, a Canary Islands public health official, said he couldn't rule out demanding mask indoors again “to protect the vulnerable”.
