Are there any trains or tubes during Glastonbury and when are the strikes?

National rail strikes are taking place on three days - June 21, 23 and 25, 2022.

Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) workers from 13 rail operators and National rail are staging walkouts on these dates.

Despite the train strikes, there are some train services that will still be running, although they will be busier than usual.

This includes the London Paddington to Castle Cary route, which usually takes less than two hours.

Other train services that will be running include trains from Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa (on the same London-Taunton route).

Trains from Cardiff Central, changing at Filton Abbey Wood, are also expected to run on strike days.

There will be some trains from Norwich into London, but much of East Anglia is expected to be cut off.

Customers travelling from outside the GWR network should check connecting services with their local train operator

Clair Mann, Managing Director of South Western Railway said the "action will mean that many customers will be unable to travel by rail".

She added: "If customers can change their date of travel, or make alternative arrangements, I urge them to begin making those arrangements as soon as possible."

A strike took place on June 21 for the London Underground, which is part of a separate dispute over job losses and pensions.
