TUI to cancel hundreds of flights next month
TUI is cancelling hundreds of flights next month - causing chaos for Brits heading abroad for half term.
Many families have already had their holidays ruined by the current travel disruptions across the UK.

Some passengers have been forced to wait for more than eight hours for their flights while others said their kids were left in tears when being told at the last minute their breaks were cancelled.
TUI has since said they were cancelling around 43 flights a week until June 30 to prevent further problems seen at UK airports this week.
The cancellations will be to and from Manchester Airport and will affect nearly 200 flights.
The airline said in a statement: "We would like to apologise to our customers who have experienced flight delays and cancellations in recent days and understand that many of our customers have been looking forward to their holiday with us for a long time.

"Due to the amount of on-going disruption in our operation at Manchester Airport, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel six flights a day (43 flights a week), from Tuesday 31st May until Thursday 30th June. All other airports in the UK are planned to operate as normal."
"We understand how disappointing this will be for those impacted; however, we believe this is necessary to provide stability and a better customer service at Manchester Airport.
"We will continue to work closely with all our airport partners and suppliers so we can provide the best possible holiday experience for our customers.
"Customers affected by the flight cancellations will receive a full refund for their holiday, as well as an extra gesture of goodwill.

"Customers impacted in the next 14 days will also receive information on how to apply for compensation in line with regulations.
"We would like to reassure our customers that we cancellations of this nature are extremely rare and would like to thank them for their patience and understanding.”
The airline has also urged Brits not to arrive too early at the airport as they said this can cause even more queues.
Martin Lewis has explained how TUI passengers affected by cancellations can get hundreds of pounds in compensation.
And TUI isn't the only airline pre-emptively cancelling flights this summer.
British Airways has cancelled 16,000 flights between March and October.
And EasyJet announced it will cancel more than 200 flights over the next 10 days.
They said its cancellations would affect about 24 flights per day from London's Gatwick airport between May 28 and June 6.
There are fears that the travel chaos could last for months, according to travel expert Paul Charles.

"Sadly, I think it will get worse because were reaching its peak in a few days," Mr Charles told
"Monday, June 6 is scheduled to be the busiest day since 2019, with 2,864 departures from the UK, and the same number of inbound flights - it will be the busiest day since before the pandemic."
