Popular holiday hotspot scraps Covid tests for vaccinated Brits
ANOTHER popular holiday destination for Brits has scrapped more Covid restrictions.
Vaccinated tourists heading to the Maldives will no longer need to take a Covid test to enter.
The islands, popular with honeymooners, previously required tests from tourists even if they had both jabs.
The new rules, introduced last week, have since scrapped this.
To be vaccinated, the second dose need to have been taken at least 14 days before travelling, and arrivals don't need to have their booster jab.
Families also don't need to take a Covid test when leaving the islands anymore either, previously needing a PCR test when departing from the Maldives.
There are still strict rules in place for kids, however, who are yet to be offered the vaccine.
Any kids over the age of one needs to have a negative PCR test, taken no more than 96 hours before arrival.

All arrivals need to fill in a Traveller Health Declaration form 48 hours beforehand, as well as an Immigration Arrival Card when entering the country.

And Spain has changed its entry requirements to allow some unvaccinated Brits to enter.
People who recovered from Covid within the last 180 days are now able to visit Spain, even if they've only had one of zero jabs.
