A WOMAN has revealed a genius trick for getting more hand luggage on a flight.
Anya Iakovlieva, who goes by the handle @nolimitua on TikTok, managed to smuggle a number of extra items with her on the plane by using an empty pillowcase.
stuffing the case with a load of clothes, then placing it on top of her suitcase.
Presumably, the cabin crew checking passengers onboard assumed the pillowcase was going to be used as a sleeping aid, as Anya then showed a clip of herself hugging the pillow on the flight.
The clip, which is titled "The best travel hack ever - pillow flies for free" has been liked more than 350,000 times since it was posted two days ago.
In November 2020, a TikTok user was banned from an airline after he posted a "hack" on how to get free baggage while travelling.
User RobKAllDay shared a video on his social media channel on how to get away with a free suitcase when travelling with Spirit Airlines.
, he can be seen manipulating what appears to be the “carry-on bag” section of his digital boarding pass to read “1” instead of the “0” that was previously printed on his ticket.

In the caption, however, Rob K claims he “didn’t actually” go through with the scheme, despite demonstrating it for his 180,000-plus followers.
Nevertheless, Rob K. later claimed that Spirit sent him a letter confirming that he was banned from flying with the carrier for at least two years.
Or if you're looking for a tip that won't get you banned from your favourite airline, packing expert Daan Dijkstra, who holds the impressive job title of “pack master” at adventure product company, Kathmandu, says there is an obvious thing to start with.
Daan told : "My biggest tip is to look at the overall weight of the luggage itself.
"I mean people will cut off half their toothbrush to shave a gram off but overall the bag they’re taking is actually a really heavy bag.
"You need to remember that the bag weight is included in the 7kg (15lbs) and often people choose bags that already weigh 2-3kg (4-6lbs)."
