TUI launches new UK holidays and experiences as Brits opt for domestic breaks this summer
TUI has launched new UK breaks and experiences as part of their domestic programme, after being forced to cancel foreign holidays until July.
The tour operator announced a number of holiday and flight cancellations to holiday hotspots Spain, Greece and Italy until at least July 11, although is likely to be extended.
With families opting for another staycation summer, TUI has now expanded their UK deals.
This includes London breaks to the Harry Potter Studios, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye.
Other UK breaks include tours of Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, as well as Belfast's Titanic Museum tours and trips to Stonehenge.
Theme park breaks include Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park.
Their long UK holidays include an eight-day trip around North Wales, five-day whisky tours of Scotland and day tours of Downton Abbey sets.
Prices range from £3 self-guided audio tours to £1,195 week excursions.
TUI's UK chief marketing officer Katie McAlister said: “We’re thrilled to grow our domestic experiences programme further, with the addition of hundreds of UK excursions, activities and tickets serving the ever-increasing demand for new experiences, both during travel and while at home.
“Through our website, customers can easily search and instantly book some of the UK’s most popular and sought-after experiences, whether it be for a staycation, day trip, or perhaps a local activity to extend that holiday feeling after returning home from abroad.”
