Theme parks have been able to open since April 12, when outdoor hospitality restrictions were lifted.

This included other outdoor venues such as zoos, but the lockdown dates only applied to England, not Wales and Scotland.

But now, overnight staycations and hotel stays are resuming from May 17, allowing groups to go away together (two households or rule of six from different households) and then from June 21 there will be no limit on groups.

It means families will be able to enjoy a great-value short break at a theme park of their choice. Here are the best deals from May 17 through summer.
