These six amazing UK destinations picked by could easily be mistaken for somewhere far more exotic, thanks to their clear turquoise waters, picturesque coastlines and colourful buildings.

Their findings include top spots across the UK, including Dorset, Cornwall and Wales.

Travel firms have so far reported record-breaking figures for summer staycations, with a  in spending.

With its dramatic rocky coastline and clear turquoise waters, Kynance Cove in Cornwall can feel like you’re in a tropical paradise much further away from home. 

The beauty spot is not unlike parts of New Zealand, with its golden sands and epic views.

During low tide, you can explore the hidden caves the coastline has to offer and the picture perfect Lizard village, located in the Lizard Peninsula, is just a short stretch away.

When the sun beams down on Tenby village, it's not unlike a warm day in a lovely Spanish town.

Lulworth Cove, Dorset

This wow-worthy cove can be found near the village of West Lulworth, on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. 

Its backdrop of cliffs, greenery and bright blue water is ideal for a dip in the water or can simply be enjoyed from the beach.

The village itself has a great selection of shops and restaurants. Nearby is Dorest’s most photographed landmark, the Durdle Door, Lulworth Castle and Monkey World.
